Trump Ain’t Going Nowhere

Day 18

Every time something scandalous happens in the Trump administration, the media, liberals, establishment conservatives, moderates and whoever else is scared shirtless by this man, say, “Welp, that’s it. He can’t survive this.”

Admittedly, the latest scandal looks bad. Phrases like “obstruction of justice” and “impeachment” are being thrown around for good reason. But many people have no idea what they’re talking about.

First of all, being impeached just means that you’re considered to be removed from office. To move for this, a majority of the House will have to agree. Congress can’t pass gas let again this motion. Moreover, Trump would be going against a Republican House. As of right now, there is no reason, politically, for them to jump ship.

But let’s say Trump gets impeached. He ain’t getting removed from office. That would require two thirds of the Senate to approve.

By the time the Democrats even have a chance of controlling either, there would have been a million other little scandals that happened that we focused on, freaked out about and moved on from.

He ain’t going nowhere. At least not right now.
