(3) Writing Whatever I Want
1 min readMay 6, 2017
It’s freeing to write whatever is in your head. There is no judgement, just creation.
It’s for fun.
It’s for me.
It’s for you.
It’s for whomever it wants to be for. I don’t care that I just ended a sentence with a preposition or that it didn’t particularly make sense and you shouldn’t either. That’s the beauty of creative writing — we make it up. We use the English language and make it our slave — not the other way around. We make it dance, we make it cry, shout, sing, explain and educate. But we can’t do any of that if we don’t first write whatever we want. Whatever is in our head.
